The Typhoon Air Intake System is a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to provide cooler, denser air to the engine for increased performance. It is a direct replacement for the restrictive OE air box and the constrictive factory air filter and inlet tract. Using the most advanced airflow management technology, K&N has optimized the flow characteristics of the Typhoon Air Intake System to complement its high-flow Filtercharger®.

The K&N Apollo is a universal "Closed Intake System" and was designed by K&N's experienced Research & Development engineers. The Apollo's specially designed shape increases volumetric efficiency and is made of durable lightweight material for cooler air intake. The Apollo incorporates a K&N famous cotton gauze filter which is removable for periodic cleaning and provides the benefits of an open cone filter and standard air box in one unit. Heat build up is reduced which keeps the intake charge cool. Smooth internal features minimize air turbulence and maximize air flow. The Apollo handles over 350 BHP when used on turbo vehicles and is ideal for a bespoke intake application or for updating existing induction kits already fitted to the vehicle. The Apollo comes with a standard 70mm flange with a range of stepped adaptors available to allow fitment to other intake sizes.

The K&N PreCharger is a specially designed filter wrap made to extend the service interval of your K&N Filtercharger when used in very dusty conditions. They are made from durable polyester material containing a uniform weave. The PreCharger will stop small dirt particles with minimal restriction to the airflow of the filter. The PreCharger is designed to be run dry and can be cleaned with K&N Filter Cleaner. The PreCharger is custom made to fit each application. Double stitched elastic openings assure that the PreCharger will stay in place. The PreChargers are available in a variety of colors, all with a silk-screened K&N PreCharger logo.
